Arz Kiya Hai (arzkiyahai.com), plainly stated.
By using arzkiyahai.com, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
AKH's translations, glosses, "why it lands" notes, essays, and curation are created by AKH and belong to us. The underlying poetry itself is a mix of public-domain and rights-managed work; where a poet's work is still in copyright, we don't offer it for sale or download until the relevant rights are cleared. Couplet text is sourced and verified from Rekhta before it's published on AKH โ we don't invent verse.
You're welcome to read, watch, and listen to AKH's free content for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Anything beyond that โ republishing, performing, or otherwise using our translations, notes, or curated material commercially โ needs our written permission. If you're a festival, venue, or organiser interested in licensing a live programme, that's what Presents is for.
AKH does not currently require an account to use the site. Anything you save or collect is stored on your own device, as described in our Privacy Policy.
If you submit a couplet, a reading, or a request through our forms, you're giving us permission to review it and, if we choose to, publish it on AKH with attribution to you (using the name you give us, unless you ask otherwise). Submitting something doesn't guarantee it will be published.
Any purchase made through Shop is also subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
We do our best to keep AKH accurate and available, but the site and its content are provided "as is," without guarantees of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
To the extent permitted by law, AKH isn't liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site.
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
We may update these terms from time to time; the date above reflects the most recent change.
Questions about these terms can be sent through the Submit or Request forms under More.
