This policy explains what information Arz Kiya Hai ("AKH", "we") collects when you use arzkiyahai.com, and how it's used. It covers the public site only — not the separate admin tools we use to run it.
We only collect what you choose to give us, through a small number of forms:
There is currently no account system on AKH — you don't create a login or a password to use the site.
Some things you do on AKH — saving a couplet to "Your collection" ("Kept"), items in your Shop bag, and your light/dark theme choice — are stored only in your browser's local storage. They are never sent to our servers, and we have no way to see them. Clearing your browser data or switching devices will lose them.
We use the information you give us only to do the thing you asked: respond to a submission or request, confirm an event registration, or let you know when something you asked to be notified about is ready. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
Some parts of the site load resources from, or embed content from, other services, each governed by their own privacy practices:
We keep submissions, requests, and registration details for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and keep a record of the event or interaction, and no longer than necessary for that purpose.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to us (see Contact below). You can clear your saved couplets, bag, or theme preference at any time from your own browser's settings.
AKH is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone we know to be under the age required by applicable law to consent to this policy on their own.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, say so on the site.
